Survive where Sol grows distant
Sol Survivor is a persistent multiplayer space-survival sandbox about building a foothold in the outer Sol system. Start alone, host a world for friends, or join another crew through Steam lobbies, then expand from a fragile EVA work site into a functional orbital habitat.Build the station piece by piece
Construct with modular habitat panels, octagonal tube sections, endcaps, coverings, mounted devices, routes, lights, batteries, screens, buttons, wires, pipes, and other station systems. The project direction is focused on structures that physically exist in the world, persist across saves, and can be expanded into larger player-built constructs.Work outside the airlock
Astronaut movement is built around zero-g EVA, Newtonian motion, suit control, damping, and construct anchoring. The goal is for players, offline bodies, and future NPCs to remain physically tied to moving constructs unless they actively thrust away.Host persistent worlds
Sol Survivor is designed around saved worlds, Steam lobby hosting, joining, invites, visibility options, lobby chat, and multiplayer synchronization. A hosted world is not just a match; it is a shared place that can persist, reload, and grow.Current feature direction
- Solo, host, and client session flow.
- Persistent saved worlds and player identity records.
- Steam lobby flow, chat, hosting, joining, invites, and password options.
- Zero-g astronaut traversal and construct-aware movement.
- Creative-mode modular habitat construction as the baseline for the survival pass.
- Saturn-ring-inspired outer-Sol setting with dirty ice rubble, station building, and EVA hazard.
- Systems-first station gameplay: power, lighting, devices, routed links, atmosphere, coverings, and mounted equipment.
