Simulacro

Simulacro is a third-person action, adventure and exploration game set in a strange, artificial universe governed by its own laws.

The adventure takes place across the Dioramas, regions connected by portals and inhabited by objects, entities and creatures whose forms of existence differ profoundly from those found in our universe. Some possess consciousness, others do not, yet all are part of a reality built upon unusual rules.

Explore uncommon environments, meet enigmatic characters, face challenges, solve puzzles, uncover secrets and search for the mysterious Spiral Coins, artifacts whose true value remains the subject of speculation.

In this universe, organic life is virtually nonexistent. Everything is composed of bits and held together by a force known as BOND. The rules may seem familiar at first, but they operate in their own way.

You take control of an ordinary Simulacro: an individual with no fixed name, no special status and no apparent grand destiny. Just another piece among countless others. Yet even the simplest elements can alter the course of a strange world.

Features

  • Third-person exploration focused on discovery and curiosity.

  • An original universe with its own cosmology.

  • Unusual characters, each with their own roles, perspectives and peculiarities.

  • Challenges that combine exploration, observation, combat and reasoning.

  • Interconnected Dioramas filled with secrets.

  • Mysterious collectibles tied to the greatest enigmas of the universe.

  • Narrative delivered through dialogue, observation and discovery.

Gameplay

You control a Simulacro, an anthropomorphic type capable of moving at different speeds, jumping and using special structures that greatly enhance its ability to reach elevated areas.

The character has two primary offensive moves: a simple kick and a spinning attack performed with outstretched arms. Although both can be used in combat, they also play important roles in environmental interaction and in overcoming certain challenges.

Interaction with the world is primarily performed through the action button, which is used to operate Context-Sensitive Buttons, use teleporters, activate mechanisms, advance dialogue and perform various other actions.

Due to its physical nature, a Simulacro has a distinctive style of movement that directly influences the way it explores the Dioramas and interacts with the inhabitants of this universe.
