BonkCity

BonkCity

The label is buying up your city block, and they built a fake MC to replace the real ones. You're the one who wouldn't sign. A 90s hip-hop horde survivor: auto-fire weapons, stack drip, level mixtapes, and beat the Industry Plant.

The block raised you. The cypher made you. Now a major record label wants to replace you.  BonkCity has the spirit of legendary rougelike games like Vampire Survivors, MegaBonk and other legends of the auto-fire genre.

BonkCity, mid-90s. The Industry has flooded your corner with posers biting your style, hired off-duty cops as private muscle, and put A&R suits on every stoop signing MCs to soul-killing deals. Their endgame is the Industry Plant — a focus-grouped, ghostwritten, label-built fake "MC" designed to bury the real scene. You're the MC who refused to sign. Survive the wave, work up the food chain, and take the fake down in person.

A run lasts 14 minutes. If you're good, it doesn't end there.

Weapons fire on their own — your job is everything else. Pick your lanes when you level, pop chests for drip, capture cell towers for permanent run buffs, and spend your dollars before you die, because you can't take them with you. At 3:00 an A&R suit named Turnpike Tony comes to scout you. At 14:00 the Industry Plant arrives with three phases and no respect. Beat him and you can cash out — or keep going into the Eternal Cypher, where the Industry sends its real heavyweights and survival turns into score.

Build your sound

  • 4 playable MCs, each with their own movement and signature weapon — dash, lime-green scooter, skateboard, or a swarm of bees

  • 17 weapons, from The Mic and Turntables to the Attack Dog and the Block Rocker

  • 10 evolutions: pair the right weapon with the right gear and watch it become something rude

  • 12 mixtapes, 30 drip items, 40 Rep Quests, and 10 Beef challenge runs that remix the rules

Four ways to play

Standard is the classic arcade run. The Daily Block gives everyone on Earth the same seed for 24 hours, one best run, one leaderboard. Endless removes the clock and keeps stacking difficulty. And every run produces a Bonk Code — a short string that encodes the seed, character, and loadout. Send it to a friend and they play your exact hand. Beating someone's run with their own cards is the purest trash talk there is.

Plays anywhere

Offline-first: the Daily map caches locally and scores submit when you reconnect. Full controller and keyboard/mouse support, remappable everything, scalable UI, colorblind-friendly silhouettes, optional screen-shake reduction.

Early Access

The whole core is in at day one: all four modes, the full arsenal, the boss, leaderboards, and Bonk Codes. During Early Access we're adding more weapons and evolutions, a second boss for Endless, and seasonal daily events. Built by 44G, a tiny team. No battle pass, no microtransactions — you buy it, you own it.

Content notice: stylized cartoon violence, no gore, no real-world branding. BonkCity is a tribute to an era.
