You Must Die

You Must Die is a dice-building roguelike. Defeat enemies, take their faces, and graft them to your dice to shift the odds in your favor. Prepare for your expeditions by visiting the merchant, and unlock new purchase options for every collected bounty.

Swap out and combine faces in the die editor. Want to fill a die with critical hits? You can do it. Want to turn a die into an exploding die? You can do it. Weigh the odds for each die however you want.

Choose a bounty at the bounty board in town and make preparations for your expedition. With each collected bounty comes rewards, new items at the merchant, and new ways to enhance your build. If you die, it all goes away.

Each expedition consists of a series of encounters with a boss at the end. Each bounty provides unique rewards, so choose wisely which ones to chase and the order in which you choose to do them. After completing three bounties, you can choose to attempt the final boss... or you can complete remaining bounties to gather more rewards. Beware, the enemies are also getting stronger as you do.
